Who’s Get Chunky?
Get Chunky is a New York-style cookie joint born and bred in Western Australia.
All of their cookies are handmade using the highest-quality and most mouth-watering ingredients. The bakery isn’t afraid to experiment with flavours, offering various fillings that combine their love for New York (think Smores and Reese Peanut Butter Cup cookies) and appreciation of Australia (Kinder chocolate chip cookies and fresh oat Anzac cookies) .
With a fresh and young aesthetic, quirky logo and overall fun ambiance – Get Chunky is a must visit for more reasons than one.
Celebrating 5 years
Get Chunky opened its first store in 2017, and since then, its sugary treats have stolen everyone’s hearts. And when we say “everyone” we mean it! You’re not classified a ‘foodie’ until you’ve made a stop by the cookie bar.
Besides being the first New York-style cookie joint in Australia, Get Chunky has also been credited with introducing the first MYO edible cookie dough bar in Australia! If you’re someone who appreciates the raw cookie dough just as much as the freshly baked kind, Get Chunky has made your dreams come true.
Decisions, decisions…
Get Chunky offers a wide range of cookie flavors at all of their stores. With every single flavour always being fresh, filling and a flavour bomb that will blow you away. Seriously, you could even close your eyes and choose the cookie flavour blindly and you will be impressed by the deliciousness that’s served up.
You’ve got 13 flavours to choose from with rotating cookie specials depending on the season. Besides chunky cookies, you can also find a range of icecreams, cookie doughs, coffee, toppings, tea, milkshakes, and more. If you’re not drooling yet, you might want to get your temperature checked.
Baking the world a better place
Get Chunky was started by two cookie lovers named Kyra and Dave. The husband and wife duo spent hours upon hours baking up delicious cookie recipes and sharing the goodies with family and friends. Quickly, word spread of their intoxicating biscuits and demand for their cookies was so high, it demanded a shop!
They transformed their love for baking and an obsession for cookies into a thriving business. Starting small, Kyra and Dave slowly built their business into three popular locations. Keeping quality high and consistent, it’s no wonder why their business is loved by all. Simply look at their reviews, people are going ga-ga over Get Chunky cookies, icecreams, and cookie doughs.
Get Chunky has recently announced that from 23rd May 2022, all of their three locations will be available on DoorDash. The first 600 orders will receive $0 delivery, and there will be no minimum order requirement for them.

Get Chunky has become renowned for their freshly baked cookies filled to brim with yummy chunks in their chunky cookies. Fillings vary from choco chips, cherries, coconut, raspberries, coffee, marshmallows and many (MANY) more!
If you are not satisfied with the fillings and want more, Get Chunky has a solution for that too. Their Sweetox Injections let you inject some awesome goodness into your cookies, from Nutella to cream cheese. Holy moly, they are tasty!
