Round up, round up… we’re revealing the best cinnamon scrolls in Perth!

There’s just something about cinnamon scrolls (aka cinny scrolls) that have taken Perth by storm. Perhaps it’s their mouthwatering aroma or their addictive spicy sweetness – either way, we’re stoked to see Perth bakeries putting their spin on the sweet bun.

If you’re on the hunt for the best cinnamon scroll in Perth, look no further. We’ve been hard at work tasting the finest cinnamon buns throughout the city. And guess what folks – the verdict is in. Here we lay down the truth on where you can find the very best cinnamon scrolls…

Without further ado, let’s get stuck into it.

    1.  Cinnayum

If you’ve visited Cinnayum in Joondalup before, then you’ll know exactly why we’ve put this cafe first on the list. Freshly baked every day with countless flavours to choose from, walking into Cinnayum you’re in cinnamon scroll heaven!

Choose your cinnamon scroll from peanut butter cup, strawberry, biscoff, blueberry, marshmallow sprinkle or even a whole cinnamon scroll cake (we ain’t here to judge)! There are so many toppings to choose from, with each scroll incredibly fresh and flavour packed. Make the decision easier by opting for one of their big 12 packs, trust us – you won’t regret it.

Check out their sweet website and order a cinnamon scroll delivery right to your door. With a 40km radius, there’s a high chance your residence makes the cut.

They’re quite possibly the biggest buns you’ll ever see (after Kimmy K) – if you haven’t tried one of North Street Store’s cinnamon scrolls… you haven’t lived.

North Street Store is one of the cafes a part of the Do A Dinner group that are also to thank for the legendary Little Loaf in South Fremantle, Big Loaf in O’Connor and People’s Cafeteria in Northbridge.

The Do A Dinner group have become renowned in Perth for their freshly baked bread, wholesome meals and they’re addictive cinnamon scrolls.

As soon as the fresh tray is pulled out of the oven and covered in their delicious icing – they’re snagged up by the many cinny scroll addicts waiting in line (including us). Not to worry, the bakers and staff know how to work quickly, making sure every visitor doesn’t walk away empty-handed.

    1.  Sugar & Nice

Sugar and nice and everything spice! Inglewood’s Sugar & Nice is owned and operated by master baker Marnee.

Marnee’s love and sheer passion for sweet treats shine through all of the delicacies she bakes at Sugar & Nice. In fact, the only products she doesn’t bake herself are the few croissants and bagels on the counter. Everything else is made from scratch!

Constantly experimenting in the kitchen, Marnee and the Sugar & Nice team are always coming up with new and delicious cakes, brownies, cookies, slices and everything in between. Although all of their baked goods are absolutely orgasmic – what has really stirred excitement in Perth are their cinnamon scrolls!

Big, squishy and topped with creamy icing – these cinnamon scrolls sell like hot cakes… but even faster!

It’s recommended that you pre-order these babies, check out their Facebook page for more deets.

    1.  Chu Bakery

Although Chu Bakery might look simple from the front, don’t be fooled by its modest appearance… Chu takes their pastries and cinnamon scrolls very seriously.

Run by husband and wife duo Ryan and Seren Chu, their bakery specialises in perfecting a selection of sweet pastries and savoury sandwiches – with each product bringing an overwhelming burst of flavour that really makes your taste buds sing.

From flakey almond croissants stuffed with glorious custard, light and airy choux puffs and – most importantly – soft and sweet apple and cinnamon scrolls… we can’t get enough of Chu Bakery!

What makes Chu Bakery’s cinnamon scrolls unique is the addition of apple, which we’re totally here for. The apple gives the scroll a yummy flavour reminiscent of Grandma’s apple pie. Covered with frosting, Chu Bakery knows how to win over our hearts.

We recommend heading to Chu when they open, they can get busy! If you see a line out the front, don’t be put off. It moves quickly and it’s definitely worth it.

    1.  Sinamon

    The myth. The legend. Sinamon!

Sinamon is an institution, being one of the first cinnamon scroll providers in Perth. They’ve dedicated their business to the humble pastry, experimenting with different flavours and toppings to surprise and delight their customers.

Their experience shows too. Soft on the inside and with a sugary crunch on the outside, the cinnamon scrolls from Sinamon are guaranteed to satisfy. Washed down with Sinamon’s iconic cinnamon chai, Sinamon is a must-visit when you’re strolling around Vic Park or the hole-in-wall cafe in Mount Lawley.

    Hungry?

If this hasn’t got you craving cinnamon scrolls, you might need to take a RAT test!

If you’ve got a cinnamon scroll recommendation our readers need to try, let us know! We love finding new and delicious locations in Perth.
