These creative geniuses have won numerous awards with their unique taste and their ability to stand out in an industry where many of the brands seem to blend together. With so many awards under their belt, it’s easy to see why Blasta Brewing Company is a local favorite and why their products are quickly becoming popular across the country!

A dream to transform the Australian brewery landscape

Blasta Brewing was started by entrepreneur Steve Russell in 2015. Choosing to celebrate his Scottish heritage, he named his new brewery “Blasta”, which means “Delicious, Tasty” in Scottish Gaelic.

Bold and modern – in ambience and taste

Blasta Brewing  has today grown into a phenomenal enterprise, receiving hundreds of footfalls each day. Walk into the brewery and you’ll enter a cavernous seating area that combines metal and wooden structures to create an atmosphere of dependability and dynamism.

The brewery makes use of large windows to let lots of natural light inside – allowing patrons to enjoy their beer aesthetically as well (perfect for the ‘gram!).  Street style wall art grabs the eye and there’s a separate children’s area with a sandbox, toys and a wall to draw on. Perfect for the entire family.

When it comes to the bar menu, the team believes in the motto of going big or going home. The beers at Blasta Brewing always try to stretch the boundaries of what beer conventionally should taste like. Steve’s creativity has built him a passionate clientele, who love to see him and his team at work at the massive steel beer tanks. For visitors who don’t enjoy beer (apparently they exist?!), there is an extensive bar menu to choose from, which includes wines, whiskeys, cocktails and boilermakers.

In terms of food, Blasta Brewing offers a fresh spin on rustic, wholesome food. The menu primarily has been constructed to reflect the pub food culture. Sandwiches, burgers and wraps with a side order of chips dominate the menu. But you also have a great selection of salads, pizzas, cheese boards and shared plates here. There’s also a special weekend brunch that includes specially created dishes offering a fine dining experience. You’ll find that some of the dishes on the menu boast of their signature brewed beer as the base for the sauce, marinades and brines.
