Customising foods allows creativity for its consumer and indulges in combinations not seen or tasted before. King HotPot has utilized this concept very well and will not disappoint. King HotPot is very lively, with customers coming in and out of the venue and staff constantly on the move, bringing out food to its assigned tables. At night is when King HotPot thrives, with the venue full and more customers waiting in line outside, eager to indulge in what the venue has to offer.

HotPot originates from China and its concept involves preparing a soup base with a variety of raw foods, which are then cooked in the pre-prepared soup. The arrival of King HotPot has allowed people from different ethnicities and cultures to experience what hotpot can offer with the freedom to choose their desired ingredients for ultimate customisation.

The interior of King HotPot has a unique design that sets it apart from other venues. Its bright lighting, combined with naturalistic decorations, gives a unique ambiance. The tables can accommodate small to large groups, a dining area with a train system, similar to those found in sushi restaurants but instead of sushi, it delivers ingredients listed from the menu. The sophisticated bar, stocked with alcohol of various brands, but what makes King HotPot interesting from other venues are the in store features that bring it to life. The atmosphere of King HotPot can vary throughout the day. In the afternoon, a sense of calmness and coziness fills the venue, allowing you to enjoy your food in peace. At night, King HotPot is crowded with people, tables full, and lively conversations heard throughout the venue. It’s a vibrant atmosphere that shows why King HotPot is a popular destination.

The menu at King HotPot offers a wide variety of ingredients that can be selected, these ingredients include soup bases, meats, seafood, vegetables, eggs, and noodles. The diverse amount of ingredients allows you to freely pick and choose what you desire, offering food experiences that satisfies your taste buds. Each soup base, served with the different raw ingredients you’ve chosen, is sure to offer new and refreshing flavours that will melt in your mouth with satisfaction. The venue also provides alcoholic beverages, so there is no need to worry about unavailability.

The wide variety of ingredients on the menu can sometimes leave people in disarray, wondering which soup base to choose and which ingredients are compatible. There is no set combination to be made as any combination will work! That’s the creative aspect of freely choosing your own ingredients, it creates the perfect meal to your liking and desires.

For beginners, Tomyum soup is a safe and flavourful choice as a soup base. When it comes to meat, sliced beef and sliced pork are reliable choices, giving it juiciness and explosiveness of flavour with any soup base. Seafood enjoyers may enjoy scallops, sliced salmon, and prawn meats are good choices, known for their taste and texture. There is no wrong choice for vegetables, but enoki mushrooms, bok choy and choy sum are good starting choices. For eggs, consider choosing quail eggs, chicken eggs, and soft tofu are good options to start off with. As for noodles, yellow noodles, hofan noodles, instant noodles or spinach noodles all make satisfying choices.

King HotPot is a great starting introduction to the hotpot experience, allowing you to choose your ideal soup base, combine and customise from a variety of ingredients to create a personalised taste. The naturalistic design, ambient lighting, and modern appeal enhances the dining experience, making it much more enjoyable. Currently, King HotPot has two branches: one in Morley and another in Victoria Park, so come alone or with friends and savour the hotpot experience at King HotPot.
